The festival will welcome visitors between 9am to 4pm.
This Sunday, 21st January visit Hal-Lija for the upcoming Citrus Festival being held at Transfiguration Square.
All the proceeds from the festival are going for a good cause as the money will be helping with the restoration of the Parish of Hal Lija.
Apart from this, a lot of fruit will be given for free to all the children that will be visiting the festival with their families.
Such a festival is not only going be an exhibition of all things related to citrus but also a means of education of how to preserve plants and trees in Malta’s and Gozo’s gardens and open spaces.

‘Dar Gino u Josephine Mangion’, an antiques museum will also be open throughout the whole day. Visitors can find the museum at the corner of Sir Ugo Mifsud Street and Giovanna Barbara Street.
Those who wish to bring their pets to the festival are encouraged to do so as there will be an animal blessing being held at 10:15am.
