Heads up! Valletta Ferry Services suspended and Gozo Highspeed faces possible cancellations due to rough seas
Expect disrupted sea travel this week due to the stormy conditions ahead!

Despite a sunny morning, the stormy weather expected later this week is already making waves - literally! Valletta ferry services to Sliema (via Marsamxett) and the Three Cities (via Grand Harbour) have been temporarily suspended today (Monday 13th January) due to high swells in the port.

Meanwhile, Gozo Highspeed, which connects Mgarr in Gozo to the capital city, has warned of potential trip cancellations later this afternoon for the same reason. They’ve advised passengers to stay tuned to their Facebook page for real-time updates, as plans may change depending on weather conditions.

With strong winds forecast for the rest of the week, this could be an ongoing issue, so it might be wise to reconsider sea travel unless absolutely necessary!

Were you planning on any sea travel later today?
