Garden party joy! Celebrate Mother’s Day with a Spring Fair at Msida Bastion Gardens
Looking for a different way to celebrate Mother’s Day this year? Swap the usual lunch out for a fun, relaxed day at one of Malta’s most enchanting historical gardens.
This Sunday 11th May 2025, the beautiful Msida Bastion Historic Garden will be blooming with life during its Spring Fair – a family-friendly event packed with music, food, and entertainment for all ages, between 9.30 AM till 5 PM.
Whether you're heading there with kids, friends, or looking for a tranquil afternoon surrounded by nature and heritage, the Spring Fair promises something for everyone.
Expect a great atmosphere with live DJ music providing the perfect garden party soundtrack, summer refreshments, and plenty of homemade cakes. There will also be book and bric-a-brac stalls for the bookworms and collectors in your life, as well as plants, and handcrafted artisan products.
If you’re bringing some little ones along, they’ll be happy to know that a bouncy castle will be there for their entertainment, and there will also be guided tours in both English and Maltese, helping visitors learn about the garden’s rich history.
Entrance to the garden will be €2 for adults, while children enter for free, and all proceeds of the event will go toward the preservation of the beautiful gardens, that form an important part of Malta’s heritage.
