Participants will walk some 17km from the Mellieħa parish square to the Floriana Granaries
Puttinu Cares’ traditional Good Friday midnight walk will return for its 21st edition next week.
The walk has become a key part of Malta’s Holy Week cultural calendar. Over 12,000 people took part in it last year, raising a record €113,700 for Puttinu Cares.
Participants will start at the Mellieħa parish square and walk some 17km to the Floriana Granaries (Fosos).
It will start at midnight on Friday 3rd April (that is the night between 2nd and 3rd April), and will take around four to five hours to complete.
Transport from the Fosos to Mellieħa at 8:30pm and back to Mellieħa after the walk is available free of charge.
You can apply by filling the online form, where you can also make a €10 minimum donation and book transport for the day.
