From buffets to jazz nights: Here’s what’s going down this summer at the Hilton Malta
Add some spice to the summer months.

There’s no better period to take some well-deserved time off work than the sweltering summer months. Having said that, it’s easy to lose track of all that’s going on and spend your days marinating under your bedroom air conditioner.

That’s where the Hilton in St Julian’s comes in.

With a plethora of events going down at the hotel’s different establishments every single week, you can rest assured that the Hilton will keep you busy all throughout summer. Here are four things you can get up to at this five-star hotel:

1. Experience flavours from around the world at The Oceana

At the Hilton, weekends never disappoint. Enjoy The Oceana’s bi-weekly dinner buffets, held every Friday and Saturday, and feast on a selection of dishes from all four corners of the world.

Friday’s buffet dinner is all about international fusion, with European, Asian, African, and American flavours taking centre stage. The best part? You don’t have to settle for just one cuisine! On the other hand, Saturday’s buffet is a ‘Mediterranean Festa’, showing off delectable renditions of those dishes we all know and love.

2. Enjoy The Gazebo’s top-notch summery dishes al fresco

Maltese summer days can get pretty unbearable, with the sweltering sun draining us of every last ounce of energy. Evenings, on the other hand, bring about the perfect mix of clear skies, warm winds, and idyllic sunsets.

Enjoy all of this over a couple of fresh, seasonal dishes at the Hilton’s The Gazebo Restaurant. With plenty of outdoor seating available, patrons at this iconic spot can sit beneath fairy-lit olive trees whilst taking in their tranquil surroundings. The Gazebo Restaurant boasts a perfectly balanced menu serving up light and fresh as well as deliciously decadent dishes.

3. Spend a day by the pool at The Merkanti Beach Club

Beach days are great and all, but when you want to wind down without worrying about finding a good spot to set up your umbrella and getting sand all over your belongings, pool days are where it’s at.

The Merkanti Beach Club at the Hilton features a stunning sea view, two large pools, as well as a children’s splash pool, making it the perfect spot for couples and families alike. Patrons can choose from a wide selection of different pool memberships – some of which come with food credit – that are sure to satisfy anyone’s pool day needs.

4. Wind down with a jazz night at the Quarterdeck Bar

Had a bit of a rough week? Settle into the weekend with a good cocktail and some top-notch music at Hilton’s very own Quarterdeck Bar.

Beautifully decorated with classical furnishings, this spot hosts well-loved jazz nights every Monday and Friday. It also just so happens that the Quarterdeck Bar has just got itself a brand-new menu, chock-full with a selection of zodiac-inspired cocktails. Cool, right?

So, if you’re ever unsure about your evening plans, just grab a friend (or two) for a night of tasty cocktails, delicious nibbles, and relaxing music at the Quarterdeck Bar. As if that wasn’t enough, this spot is also home to a gorgeous terrace overlooking the Portomaso Yacht Marina.
