Festa Tonn! Marsaskala to host first-ever festival celebrating Malta’s tuna industry
Something fishy is coming to Marsaskala! The seaside town will host the first edition of Festa Tonn, a brand-new festival dedicated to Malta’s fishing heritage, with a special focus on the tuna industry.
Taking place on Saturday 7th June along Triq ix-Xatt, this one-day celebration will bring together locals, visitors, and the fisheries sector for a fun and informative event that honours the island’s deep-rooted relationship with the sea.
From 11:00am onwards, the Marsaskala waterfront will come alive with tuna-themed food stalls offering mouth-watering dishes that you can enjoy with the accompaniment of live music.
