From Mozart’s timeless 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik' to Charles Camilleri’s beloved 'Malta Suite', get ready for a spellbinding evening of music performed by a string sextet from the Malta Youth Orchestra. Set against the breathtaking rooftop backdrop of the Catholic Institute in Floriana, this concert promises an unforgettable cultural experience blending classical brilliance with Maltese heritage.
Guided by Michael Laus, Principal Conductor of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and Artistic Director of the Malta Youth Orchestra, the ensemble features Karol Aquilina (guitar), Teona Debono (violin), Bernard Curmi (violin), Mikaela Balyot (viola), Ryan Paul Camilleri (cello), and Joachim Bros Debono Sultana (double bass).
The Malta Youth Orchestra, established in 2004, continues to nurture Malta’s finest young talent, performing locally and internationally, including their recent acclaimed appearances at the Florence Youth Festival 2024.
