Erm, what? ASOS to introduce returns costs, and Malta’s is the HIGHEST one so far
Locals are NOT happy...

If you’re an avid ASOS shopper buying from our islands, you’ve probably received an email saying they’ll be introducing a returns cost on orders from now on, but if you need to return anything from your latest order, there will be no charge.

“We just wanted to let you know that in future you’ll be asked to pay a fee to make returns.” Hmm…okay. And why is that, ASOS? “This is because, as with other retailers, our costs have increased so we’ve had to introduce a returns policy price accordingly.” Okay, fair enough. Times are hard, and honestly, I was just going to stop there. But then, I did some digging.

If you head to ASOS’ returns and refunds page, there’s a list of a few countries (including Malta) that will now have a returns cost:

1. Estonia: €1

2. Greece: €1

3. Latvia: €4

4. Lithuania: €8

5. Finland: €10.80

6. Malta: €15

And, at least for now, it seems that big countries like France, Germany, Spain and Italy don’t have a returns cost... #NotFair

Obviously, locals are in a frenzy, and are pretty mad at the whole sitch. “Ugh does this mean I have to start shopping in the outside world now?” said one user. “Oh well, I’ll have to limit my orders,” said another. Hmph. Seems so!
