The echoes of history intertwine with spine-tingling ghost stories during this supernatural experience fusing history and mythology, that will surely leave visitors thrilled and enchanted.

A Night of Mystery and Intrigue

As the sun sets at 6:30 pm, the evening kicks off with the Lemuria, an ancient Roman ritual designed to banish the spirits of the departed. Participants will get the chance to feel the weight of history in this age-old tradition.

Ghostly Encounters and Chilling Tales

The journey continues with the Malta Oskura Webinars, a captivating exploration of Malta’s dark and enigmatic past, presented by Heritage Malta. Dive into the shadows as while delving into the paranormal, uncovering the secrets that haunt the Catacombs.

Venture into the Unknown

The curator will lead a tour around the catacombs, including areas not normally accessible to the public. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your own torch with you. This part of the event is not suitable for people with mobility impairments.

Dinner and Stories

At 9:30 pm, gather with fellow adventurers to enjoy your own food while Roman ghost stories cast a mesmerizing spell. Share your own hair-raising experiences and become part of the living history.

Sleep Among the Spirits

Daring souls can seize the opportunity to spend the night within the hallowed grounds of the Catacombs. They can pitch their tent in designated areas (first come, first served) and bring their own sleeping gear. The site opens for tent setup at 5:30 pm, ensuring you have plenty of time to prepare for a night like no other.

Wake Up to History

As dawn breaks, savour a continental breakfast in the unique Eulogia Hall, starting at 7:30 am. Your journey ends by 9:30 am, but the memories will linger, and the spirits will forever whisper their tales.
