Ambjent Malta is offering a series of guided snorkelling tours at two of Malta’s favourite bays – Golden Bay (Ramla tal-Mixquqa) and Għajn Tuffieħa (Riviera) – giving nature lovers and adventure seekers the chance to explore the vibrant marine life thriving in these Protected Areas.

Here are the upcoming snorkel tour dates:

Għajn Tuffieħa Bay

• 11th July 2025 – 08:00
• 11th July 2025 – 10:30
• 8th August 2025 – 08:00
• 8th August 2025 – 10:30

Golden Bay

• 25th July 2025 – 08:00
• 25th July 2025 – 10:30

Led by local experts, these guided snorkel sessions are designed to help you discover the underwater habitats and fascinating flora and fauna found just off Malta’s shores – all while learning about the importance of preserving these unique marine ecosystems. There’s no need to book – just show up at the indicated times and introduce yourself to the team once you’re there!

Prefer to go at your own pace? No problem! Ambjent Malta has also created detailed snorkelling trail booklets, available in both Maltese and English, so you can explore independently. Just scan the on-site QR codes to access a wealth of information, including species IDs, images, and habitat descriptions – all tailored to the exact bay you're exploring.

Whether you’re an experienced snorkeller or a curious first-timer, these free tours offer a fantastic way to connect with nature, cool off in the summer heat, and experience Malta’s coastal beauty from a new perspective.
