Deputy PM and Health Minister Chris Fearne revealed that details will be shared tomorrow how how cultural and social events can resume starting from July.

“Tomorrow, together with Minister Jose Herrera, we will announce how, from July onwards, we will open some activities in a limited and controlled manner for those with a vaccine certificate, so that cultural and social life can restart.”

This comes after a nationwide campaign by the entertainment industry was launched – Restart. This was done together with the Malta Entertainment Industry and Arts Association (MEIA), both decrying and criticising that this sector was the only one left out of the reopening plan.

Following discussions, authorities announced that from July some events could take place attended by those who are fully vaccinated however no details were ever published. This will all be changing tomorrow.
