COVID-19: 43 patients currently being hospitalised in Malta's hospitals

As the Superintendent of Public Health addressed the public in her weekly media briefing today, Prof. Charmaine Gauci confirmed that a total of 43 COVID-19 patients are currently being treated in Malta’s hospitals. 

Breaking these down, she shared that 9 patients are currently being treated at the Infectious Diseases Unit at Mater Dei while another 2 are in the ITU, and a further 10 are in other wards.

Finally, 10 patients are currently housed at Boffa Hospital and another 12 are at St Thomas Hospital.
