Combining classical music with true showmanship, Balázs Havasi will be playing at Pjazza Teatru Rjal this Saturday.
Rarely does classical music pull in the crowds like rock concerts do, but in Balázs Havasi’s case, arenas sell out fast and fans scramble over much-desired tickets! In one instance, the world-renowned pianist even sold 20,000 tickets in a single day, so it’s no wonder that his new show in Malta this weekend has had many talking.

The Hungarian pianist, composer and showman is known for his unique ability to bring classical sounds into the mainstream, by integrating rock and musical styles from all over the world in rousing compositions. This Saturday, he promises to do just that in a concert at the capital’s entrance, in Pjazza Teatru Rjal.

And it is expected to be quite a show. The performer is famous for integrating the latest technology in sound, lighting and stage design to create an experience which inspires awe. Audiences will have the opportunity to witness this first-hand, as well as the possibility to buy golden tickets which include a welcome drink and a meet and greet with the man himself at the VIP reception following the concert.

Havasi is a graduate of the distinguished Franz Liszt Academy of Music and is inspired by the stalwarts of classical music, yet attempts to integrate elements of the past with modern world styles, with the aim of creating a new musical language which will speak to audiences around the globe.
