Get ready for an enchanting musical journey as the Don Bosco Oratory Theatre of Victoria, Gozo, prepares to bring the beloved family musical, "CHITTY, CHITTY, BANG, BANG," to life this November.

This production, based on the whimsical children's book by Ian Fleming and featuring a score composed by the renowned Sherman Brothers (famous for their work on "Mary Poppins"), promises to be a delightful treat for audiences of all ages.

"CHITTY, CHITTY, BANG, BANG" tells the story of the inventor Caractacus Potts and his remarkable flying car, along with a heartwarming tale of family and adventure. The musical first graced the London stage in 2002, followed by a Broadway run in 2005, captivating audiences with its memorable tunes and imaginative storytelling.

Thanks to a license from Music Theatre International of London and the support of the Directorate of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry for Gozo, the show is now set to charm the Gozitan audience.

Leading the cast is Ludwig Galea as Caractacus Potts and Clara Sciberras as Truly Scrumptious, joined by an array of talented local performers. Under the guidance of director Saviour Cremona, vocal director Antonella Rapa, and musical director Mro. Mark Gauci, the stage will come alive with captivating choreography by Mario Grech and Frances Zammit. The production promises to be a visual spectacle, with the young artist Paul M. Cassar overseeing the stage-set.

"CHITTY, CHITTY, BANG, BANG" opens on Saturday, the 11^th of November at 7:30 pm, with a matinee performance on Sunday 12^th of November at 2:30 pm. Additional shows are scheduled for Saturday 18^th November at 7:30 pm and Sunday 19^th November at 5:30 pm.
