Chilly sunshine! Temperatures predicted to fall under 10°C all week in Malta & Gozo
This week's weather forecast for the Maltese islands, as predicted by Temp Madwarna, promises a mix of sunshine and chilly temperatures.
It is predicted that the Balkan region's cold inflows will dominate the weather pattern, but the influence of high pressure to the West of Europe ensures generally mild conditions.
Today, Monday, 29th January, will be quite cloudy, accompanied by light and damp winds from the Southeast. Tuesday, 30th January is set to bring a chance of rain showers in the morning, with the wind shifting to Greek-East and increasing in strength.
From Wednesday, 31st January to Thursday, 1st of February, we can expect cold temperatures but also pleasant sunshine, which will persist into the weekend, together with a slight warming trend.
The wind directions vary throughout the week, starting from the Southeast and eventually shifting to the West.
The maximum temperature, on average, will rise from 15°C to a comfortable 17°C by the end of the week. The minimum temperature will range between 8°C and 10°C, and will feel less pronounced due to milder conditions.
Marine temperatures are expected to hover around 16°C.
