If you’re a fan of anything strawberry-related, spring is already a sweet time of year - and it’s about to get even sweeter! This Sunday May 18th, Nadur will host its first-ever Strawberry Festival, aptly called 'Qalb il-Frawli' (Among the Strawberries), celebrating the delicious red berry with a day packed full of fruity fun.
Attendees will enjoy a variety of strawberry delights as far as the imagination can stretch, including strawberry shortcake, ice cream, jams and even some chocolate-covered strawberries!
Want to make your own strawberry treats? A strawberry market will be providing fresh local strawberries and some other handmade goodies at various vendor stalls.
If strawberries aren’t your thing but you still want to join the fun, live entertainment including music, dance and competitions will be livening up the festival. Little ones will also have plenty to keep them entertained, such as a bouncy castle, arts & crafts, and even some strawberry-themed contests!
Will you be there?
