The much-awaited Kite & Wind Festival in Gozo is set to take place this weekend, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October, at San Dimitri Area in Gharb. To ease traffic and parking issues, the Gharb Local Council has announced that it will be providing a direct transport service to and from the event.

On both days, dedicated bus service will be operating between the Rabat bus terminus and San Dimitri. The first bus will depart from Rabat at 9am on both days, while the last trip from San Dimitri will be at 8pm.

For those travelling from Malta, you can reach the Rabat bus terminus from the Mgarr ferry by taking bus route 301.

Due to the large number of attendees expected, the local council strongly encourages everyone to use this transport service. To sign up, access this form.
