Are you ready to rock? BRIT FLOYD to headline Għaxaq Music Festival 2024 this July
The band will join Julian Marley and Ronan Keating on stage for this year’s festival
On the 31st of July, world-renowned BRIT FLOYD will be headlining the Għaxaq Music Festival, promising an unforgettable night of iconic music and spectacular visuals.
The festival, will be in aid of Embrace Diversity Organisation, a voluntary organisation for children and youths with disabilities.
Over the years, the Għaxaq Music Festival grew exponentially and this year “promises to be the most significant yet.”
The “world’s premier Pink Floyd experience” band will compliment the already announced concerts by legendary Julian Marley and Ronan Keating.
“Known for their unwavering dedication to recreating the magic of Pink Floyd’s music, BRIT FLOYD is the perfect ensemble to honour The Division Bell,” said the Għaxaq Music Festival team.
It also added that audiences can expect a “breathtaking audiovisual experience that pays homage to the original band’s unique blend of music and visual effects.”
The three-hour show features classic tracks from Pink Floyd’s catalogue of albums including, the Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Division Bell, Meddle and more.
BRIT FLOYD kicked off their 2024 P-U-L-S-E World Tour, celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Division Bell’ and greatest hits.
In 1994, The Division Bell Tour was the highest-grossing tour in rock music history, playing to over five million people in 68 cities.
BRIT FLOYD’s initial 52-date North American trek launched on 29th February in Hamilton, Canada.
The tour’s first leg included stops in New York City, Boston, and multiple nights in Milwaukee and Atlantic City, before wrapping up on 24th April in Memphis. Some of the performances incldued special guests Harry Waters and Durga McBroom.
A second run of dates will follow from May to July and will include a show at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, United States of America.
Direct from the States, BRIT FLOYD will then head to Malta for the third day of The Ghaxaq Music Festival which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
After Malta, it will take a moth break and regroup again for the second part of their world tour all over Europe, with a special leg in Italy.
The tour is described as “ a journey through time” and a tribute to the timeless artistry of Pink Floyd.

Having performed over 1,000 shows since its launch in Liverpool, England, in 2011, BRIT FLOYD have circled the world and “have sold out tours acorss Europe, North and South America, Asia and the Middle East.”
Tickets for the event will go on sale on Monday 27th May at 9am from the website, with early bird discounts available for a limited time.
The Għaxaq Music Festival is under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.
