International Fish Fest 2023 will be bigger and better than ever as this year they are planning on growing the festival by a having a wider perspective and international scale than the previous years.

In fact, it will take place in two different localities and not just one. On the 30th September one can attend the fishing festival in Marsaxlokk while on the 1st October, attendees can go to Mellieha instead.

Much like previous years however, the festival will see the sale of fish, as well as cooking and promotion of traditional fish that are caught in local waters, such as sea bass, sea bream, tuna, lampuki and spiny dogfish

Additionally, informative and educational stands will be put up.

Kids entertainment together with musical entertainment for adults will also be provided.

Malta and Gozo’s fishermen are set to be given a number of prizes and awards for all their hard work in this important sector.
