A Siberian blast? Something’s brewing in the weather department in Malta come March

Things are about to get cray cray in the coming weeks. While the Maltese Islands are set to experience some glorious weather with above average temperatures this week, it seems it won’t be staying that way for long.

“Statistically, a drier January and February tend to be followed by a wet March!” the weather experts at Malta Weather say. “So far, indications are that a possible Siberian blast could be directed towards the central Mediterranean next month, leading to potential colder temperatures and above average rainfall!” Sheesh.

While it’s still early days, and anything can change until we welcome March in a few weeks, we think our islands need a little rain especially during the winter months. We’d rather have it now than during the summer months when everything would result in being sticky AF. Ain’t nobody got time for that!
