A pregnant woman about to have her baby was tested positive for the Coronavirus
Prof Charmaine Gauci has just shared the news.

The Superintendent of Public Health, Prof Charmaine Gauci has just announced that one of the new cases was an Italian pregnant woman who was going to have a cesarean section.

The test was performed as a routine check before any surgery. Both she and the baby are in stable condition and the mother is being monitored. It is important to note that all precautions were taken during the operation.
