A night to remember! Nadur’s sky shines bright at Fireworks Festival
There was magic over Gozo last night!

The Malta International Fireworks Festival is in full swing, and yesterday evening (Sunday 27th April) it was Gozo’s turn to shine! After a dazzling opening on Tuesday 22nd April and a breathtaking show over Valletta’s Grand Harbour on Friday 25th, the festival made its way to Nadur – and what a night it was!

Locals and visitors alike were treated to a stunning display, culminating in the grand finale: a magnificent ‘ballun tal-blalen’ (ball of balls) lighting up the Gozitan sky. Thanks to renowned photographer Daniel Cilia, hundreds have been able to relive the magic through incredible shots now circulating on Facebook.

The pyrotechnic artistry was provided by the talented team at St Sebastian Fireworks Factory of Ħal Qormi, who pulled out all the stops to ensure Nadur's celebration was unforgettable.

Missed the show? Don’t worry – the festival isn’t over yet! The final event takes place this Wednesday 30th April, with another awe-inspiring display over Valletta’s Grand Harbour, starting at 8 PM. We recommend arriving early to grab a prime viewing spot – this is a night you won’t want to miss!

Did you catch the spectacle?
