A magical night ahead! Fever’s candlelight concert to be hosted at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta
Concerts will take place on Thursday 13th June and 25th July 2024.
Fever, the live-entertainment discovery platform, is bringing its iconic candlelight concerts to a new space in Malta: St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta.
The unique experience will transform Malta’s historic cathedral with thousands of candles on Thursday 13th June and 25th July.
The candlelight concerts are a series of original music concerts created by Fever aimed at democratising access to classical music.
This intention is executed by allowing people all over the world to enjoy live music played by local musicians in various locations, illuminated by thousands of candles.
The string quartet ‘Cordia String’ will play a variety of adapted music programmes, including the best of Vivaldi, Mozart, Bach and timeless composers. Musical programmes also feature tributes to contemporary artists like Queen as well as Hans Zimmer.
The concert aims to invite a broader audience, who might have never considered a classical music concert before, to connect with the most iconic pieces of the greatest composers in a different way.
The candlelight concerts are still offering performances at The Phoenicia Malta.
This concept was launched in 2019 and has since held unique concerts in the Atomium (Brussels), Tour Eiffel (Paris), Burj Al Arab Jumeirah (Dubai), and many more across America, Oceania, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
