A force of talent! Young Maltese go kart racer wins big at ROK Winter Trophy held in Italy
Benjamin Westwood, a young Maltese kart racer has become the ROK Winter Trophy Champion in the mini category.
The competition, which was held in Lonato del Garda in Italy, saw Benjamin competing against 44 other racers yet he still came out on top.
Benjamin is the ultimate embodiment of perseverance as even though he had engine problems during the qualifying round and he had to drive in quite a lot of rain he remained determined and went as far as achieving first place!
“We remained focused, fought tirelessly, and emerged victorious!”, Benjamin and his team wrote on social media.
Benjamin is represented by ‘Minardi Management’, an Italian based management agency at all levels of Motorsport.
