A different kind of Christmas! The New Victorians swap Chapel Hop for festive concerts across Malta
The singing sister duo are still delivering Christmas feels this year.
The New Victorians have shared a bittersweet update with fans: their beloved Christmas Chapel Hop – which usually sells out every year – won’t be happening this December. But don’t worry… they’ll still be spreading festive cheer across the island with a series of intimate performances of numbers from their gorgeous Christmas album Ninni.
With both sisters welcoming newborns this year, the duo shared that it’s been a season of ‘shifting gears’, soaking in family life and slowing things down. Still, they were determined not to let Christmas go by without a chance to sing with their audience and to perform their full Ninni album live.
Here are the dates where you can catch them this festive season:
- 12th December – Knisja l-Qadima Birkirkara (Quartet) – part of Kunsill Reġjonali Lvant
- 14th December – Palazzo Parisio (Duo)
- 20th December – Naxxar Square (Duo)
- 24th December – Freedom Square, Valletta (Full 5-piece band)
The singing sister duo also teased that a very limited number of Ninni vinyls will be available to buy as gifts at each concert – perfect for anyone who loves Maltese carols with a contemporary twist.
So mark your calendars, warm up your vocal cords, and get ready to sing along to some of Malta’s most nostalgic Christmas favourites!
Grab your calendars and jot down those dates!
