One of Malta’s leading hotels, ‘The Phonecia Malta’ took to social media to share that a very special programme is currently airing on the UK channel, Channel 5.

A four-part series called ‘Malta: The Jewel of the Med’ is being televised throughout the month of January, with the last episode airing on the 25th January.

For those who wish to watch, it airs weekly every Thursday at 9pm (Central European Time).

The feature depicts all of Malta’s great beauty, quirks, history and character.

The first episode, which aired yesterday, sees the programme exploring Valletta’s iconic St John’s Co-Cathedral, as well as farm life in the Maltese countryside and an exciting scuba dive discovering WWII sites.

They even go on to continue exploring Malta’s cat village together with Malta’s extensive culinary scene.

We can’t wait to see what the other episodes have in store!
