Wow! Malta's architectural wonders take centre stage in Cabana Magazine’s latest issue
Cabana Magazine is a luxury interiors and decorative arts magazine with 372K followers on Instagram!
Malta has once again found itself in the spotlight, this time in the renowned Cabana Magazine, which boasts a substantial Instagram following of 372K followers. Cabana Magazine is a collectable biannual magazine that celebrates the best of interiors, decorative arts and travel.
After nearly a year in the making, as reported by Studio Tufigno on social media, the magazine's latest creation has come to fruition, and it features an awe-inspiring thirty-eight-page portfolio dedicated entirely to the architectural wonders of Malta.
Printed, bound and for the first time wrapped in silk (with its cover by Tiffany & Co!), Cabana Magazine N20 features a number of firsts and untold stories. The magazine includes six never-before-seen homes in Milan, New York, Belgium, and Paris, as well as travel portfolios in Gujarat and, you guessed it...Malta!
The Malta portfolio was meticulously produced by Michele Tufigno, a local creative director and Jamie Sharp. The magazine spread dedicated to Malta is seen through the eyes of Miguel Flores-Vianna, an Argentine photographer best known for his architecture and interior works. Designer Suzanne Sharp, co-founder of The Rug Company, and writer of this Malta spread, revisits her childhood and explores the complexities of Maltese identity and history.
‘Malta, where I am from, is a country whose extraordinary and often misunderstood culture and wealth of history has been a source of inspiration throughout my career’, says Suzanne in an Instagram post.
This exclusive journey takes readers through some of Malta's most exquisite classic interiors, ranging from the familiar to the lesser-known gems that have long remained hidden. The stunning visuals that grace these pages include historical marvels such as the Grandmaster’s Palace, and St John’s Co-Cathedral, as well as the rare set of Gobelin Tapestries in Valletta, which Suzanne describes as one of her favourite images from the entire shoot.
Cabana Magazine's Issue 20, hosting this magnificent feature, is now available for purchase on their website, cabanamagazine.com.
With its long-awaited release, Cabana Magazine has not only celebrated Malta's architectural grandeur but has also given this Mediterranean treasure a platform to dazzle the world with its timeless beauty and captivating interiors.
Malta, once again, shines bright in the global spotlight, thanks to the vision and dedication of the Cabana Magazine team. Thank you!
