As Malta enters its final few weeks of village feasts, festa season is still in full swing, and this weekend, the well-loved Ħamrun feast was on with its St. Joseph Band Club breaking an astonishing record!

The band club are now the proud national record holder of Malta's largest balloon construction.

Soċjetà Mużikali San Ġużepp Ħamrun - A.D. 1889 received the honour from 'The Malta Records' after displaying a magnificent balloon building in the shape of a church that measured 11.75m in height and 7.30m in width.

The legendary ‘’Marċ tal-Ħadd," along with a number of other celebrations and afterparties, will take place this afternoon as the Hamrun feast comes to an end after a week of festivities.
