This weekend was Għargħur’s time to shine! Celebrating the feast of St Bartholomew, Għargħur celebrated in style with these amazing fireworks, vividly captured by Michael Azzopardi Photography.

Generally, this feast and most Maltese feasts last for three days or longer and hundreds of people will be in a festive mood to celebrate the event and watch the fireworks.

The St Bartholomew Ground Fireworks Team organised spectacular ground and aerial fireworks including a Wheels of Fire spectacle that happened on Saturday 26th August.

A unique display of colour explosions and firecrackers!
