After a week of extremely strong winds and lots of thunderstorms, Autumn weather has finally hit the Maltese islands in full swing.

But what is the weather looking like for this week?

According to meteorological office at the Malta International Airport, we can expect some strong winds on both Tuesday and Sunday, alongside possible isolated showers on Wednesday.

‘Maltese Islands Weather’ is reporting a similar forecast as they too are predicting isolated showers for Wednesday but they’re expecting the wind force to remain particularly strong throughout most of the week.

‘Aggornament ta’ Temp’ is predicting light rain throughout the majority of the week.

Even though the temperature dropped significantly throughout most of last week, it is expected to go up again later in the week.

‘Maltese Islands Weather’ is in fact expecting the temperature to go as high as 24°C this coming Friday. This is still quite cool but significantly higher to the low temperatures Malta experienced last week.

The meteorological office at the Malta International Airport is similarly expecting temperature to reach a 22°C high on both Friday and Saturday.

It is however looking unlikely that it is going that we will experience a largely sunny day at any point this week.
