Will we soon see a new garden and underground parking in front of the Sliema Ferries?
The garden will give a greener look to Sliema’s landscape.

Malta’s government is proposing for the Sliema Ferries overground parking to be transformed into something completely different.

It is being suggested that parking should turn into an open space and garden full of trees and plants that people can enjoy.

But the parking will not disappear completely as instead an underground car park is being proposed right underneath the garden.

The Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects is in fact publishing a call of interest from the public so more information and ideas can be gathered on how this project can move forward in the best way possible.

Can you picture this different kind of infrastructure in Sliema?
