Whether you’re a tourist looking for the next heritage site to visit or a local wanting to do something fun and cultural with your family, Heritage Malta has just announced that St. Paul’s Catacombs in Rabat will be open for visitors.

Starting from the 1st of October until March 2024, one can visit this archaeological museum that represents the earliest and largest evidence of Christianity in Malta. Located in Hal Bajjada area, which is also known as Tad-Dlam, the catacombs form a complex of interconnected underground Roman cemeteries that were used up until the 7th and 8th centuries AD.
