Are you fascinated by all things history? Then, you’re definitely in for a treat here. An intriguing photo recently surfaced on popular Facebook group, Malta Underground, showing an elevated tomb at the petite Salini Catacombs Complex.

This fascinating elevated tomb clearly bears the marks of a prominent individual or family from the past. Standing tall with four arched 'windows,' the monument is encircled by a passageway on all sides. Evidently, the occupants laid to rest here held significant wealth or held positions of importance within their society.

Though situated on private land, the site remains publicly accessible, allowing curious visitors to glimpse into the mysteries of history.

However, as with all historical gems, visitors are urged to maintain this tomb’s integrity by keeping the site tidy and safeguarding it from harm. Preserving this piece of heritage ensures that future generations can marvel at its grandeur and understand the stories it holds.
