The Maltese Badminton team have made their country very proud after winning their first game at this year’s Small States of Europe Badminton Team Championships that are being held right here in Malta.

The played their first game against Gibraltar and comfortably won with a score of 5-0.

Lauren Azzopardi, Nigel Degeatono, Samuel Cassar, Elenia Haber, Matthew Abela, Matthew Galea and Francesca Clark are the impressive team that make up the Maltese delegation.

They are now currently playing the Faroe Islands and hoping for another win.
