Beppe Grillo will be representing Malta at the Paris 2024 Summer Games.
The Maltese men's 4x100m relay team achieved a new national record at the renowned Lignano Sabbiadoro meet in Italy.
The team, composed of Omar El Aida Chaffey, Luke Bezzina, Graham Pellegrini, and Beppe Grillo, completed the race in 40.51 seconds.
This performance improved their previous national record by six-tenths of a second, which was set in May at the Balkan Championships.
Beppe Grillo, who won the 100m race at Saturday's Brugnera meet with a time of 10.52 seconds and ran 10.67 seconds on Sunday, will be representing Malta at the Paris 2024 Summer Games.
Well done to all the team!
