Well done! Żibel volunteers remove 1.67 tonnes of waste from Exiles Bay in Sliema
A whopping 158 volunteers participated in this event

Żibel has done it again - this time at the popular Exiles Beach in Sliema, where 158 dedicated volunteers successfully removed an impressive 1.67 tonnes of waste from both the seabed and the surrounding land.

A team of 78 divers scoured the waters from Exiles to the Cavalieri Hotel in St. Julian’s, including Balluta Bay, ensuring every piece of debris was cleared from the sea floor. Meanwhile, 80 land-based volunteers worked tirelessly to clean the coastline from Exiles Bay to the Font Ghadir area, covering a significant stretch of the Sliema shoreline.

Żibel continues to lead the charge in environmental action, fostering a strong sense of community among those who come together to keep Malta’s beaches clean.

Well done to everyone involved!
