The Ghar Lapsi coastline has received a much-needed clean-up, thanks to the hard work of the Coast is Clear team and their incredible volunteers.

In collaboration with environmental activists Conrad Neil Gatt and Inigo Taylor, the team successfully collected an impressive 486kgs of waste, including rusty metals and garbage that had accumulated along the beautiful coastline.

This community-driven effort highlights the dedication of volunteers who are passionate about preserving Malta’s natural beauty. Their determination was key in tackling the pollution that threatened the coastal area, ensuring it remains a pristine environment for both locals and visitors.

Coast is Clear also sent their special thanks to Kunsill Lokali Is-Siggiewi and Mayor Julian Borg, whose support and provision of skips made the clean-up operation smoother and more efficient. Their commitment to environmental sustainability played a vital role in this successful initiative.

The clean-up at Ghar Lapsi is just one example of how collective action can make a real difference in safeguarding Malta's delicate ecosystems.

Coast is Clear continues to inspire and encourage others to join in preserving the island’s natural treasures for future generations.

Well done to all those involved!
