Well done! Coast is Clear spends eve of public holiday cleaning up Malta’s beaches
Not a typical way to spend your time during the holidays.

Emma Galea

The local environmental NGO, ‘Coast is Clear’ spent the eve of the Santa Marija public holiday cleaning up a total of three beaches in Malta.

The founder of ‘Coast is Clear’, Mark Galea Pace together with the other volunteers, Jelle and John managed to significantly clear and clean Qammieh bay, Paradise Bay and Crystal Lagoon.

“The feeling is indescribable of how accomplishing and motivating one feels, after an amazing day like yesterday”, Mark wrote.

They mainly found and collected lots of discarded fishing gear, old plastic bottles amongst lots of other types of waste.

Thank you for all your efforts!
