The Coast is Clear Foundation recently organised a clean-up at Valley Road, Birkirkara, with the support of local council members and the Kunsill Reġjonali Lvant.

Together, they managed to collect an impressive 305 kilograms of waste from the area.

The collaboration aimed not only to clear the environment of litter but also to raise public awareness about the importance of community involvement in environmental initiatives.

The foundation emphasised the need for more such efforts, stating, ‘We need many more successful initiatives like these, not only to get our environment cleaned up, but even more to get the public to participate spread awareness’.

A follow-up clean-up event has been scheduled for the 14th of September at 8 a.m., with volunteers encouraged to join the cause.

Well done!
