Zibel does it again...this time in San Pawl il-Bahar at l-Għażżenin Bay. 106 dedicated divers, freedivers, and coastal volunteers gathered to make a tangible impact on this beloved coastline.

Armed with determination, the volunteers embarked on a mission to clear away 568.12kg of waste, transforming their local environment. Out of that waste, 168.16kg was plastic waste, 53.74kg was ropes and fishing gear and 5.50kg was glass waste. On top of that, 112.56kg was metal waste and the biggest waste of all came from mixed waste at 228kg.

The event brought together like-minded volunteers, creating a sense of community and shared purpose which not only resulted in a cleaner coastline but also in new friendships and camaraderie.

This impactful cleanup was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Saving our Blue Malta, the Ministry for The Environment, Energy and Enterprise, and ERA - Environment & Resources Authority.

Well done, Zibel! You never cease to impress!
