Welcome aboard! Stunning Viking Saturn cruise ship docks at Valletta’s Grand Harbour for the first time

For the first time, the Valletta Cruise Port welcomed the Viking Saturn cruise ship to Maltese waters.

The Viking Saturn is unlike many other cruise ships that we are used to. It is an all-veranda small ship that host only up to 930 guests when fully occupied.

It has won many awards in the marine tourism industry. The Viking Saturn offers guests with meticulous and personalised service together with many uniquely exclusive amenities.

As typically happens when a new cruise ship enters the Valletta Harbour for the first time, a plaque exchange was held between the cruise port and Captain Arlid Jernaes.

The Viking Saturn also happened to be the first cruise vessel to ever dock in Malta to be energised by the newly installed Onshore Power System (OPS). This system significantly reduces noise and environmental pollution.
