From the 28th April to 1st May, Gozo will be celebrating the exciting Flower and Art Festival. The festival will see the quaint city of Victoria be turned into a stunning spring haven.

Starting off from Friday, 28th April, visitors are invited for a talk where they will learn more about the creative processes that goes into creating these impressive floral carpets and structures. This will be followed by the grand opening of the ‘Flower Carpet Project exhibition’, happening at the Ministry for Gozo Hall.

On Saturday, 29th April, one can visit Castle Road in Victoria where they will be able to see the talented artists live as they work and create the showstopping flower carpets. A total of ten groups from different associations and organisations will be creating many different carpets with the theme of ‘Spring in Europe’.

During the evening of the same day, there will be a huge unveiling of the finished infiorata masterpieces.

The marvellous beauty of the flower carpets will be on display all day throughout Sunday, 30th April and Monday 1st May.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, workshops relating to flower arrangements will be organised at the Villa Rundle gardens for anyone who wishes to attend. No experience is necessary.

This will surely not be a festival you want to miss!
