WATCH: Marlon Attard becomes the first Maltese skeet athlete ever to medal at European Championships
Record breaking results!

Maltese skeet athlete, Marlon Attard has impressively won a silver medal at the European Championships taking place in Osijek, Croatia.

This resulted in him becoming the first skeet athlete coming out of Malta to place and medal at such a high-level competition.

Even his qualification results were record breaking for Maltese Skeet athletes at international events. He managed an impressive result of 123/125.

When he passed through the final, he finished the competition in second place with a score of 54/60.

The gold was brought home by Charalambos Chalkiadakis from Greece while Tammaro Cassandro from Italy placed third.

Marlon was not the only Maltese skeet athlete to do well at this prestigious competition. Clive Farrugia and Liam Sciberras placed 36th and 45th respectively out of 74 athletes from all across Europe.
