Getting the country into the festive spirit!

Malta Public Service has showered the internet with some festive cheer, in their release of a Christmas-themed video, showing countless workers from the public sector singing along to a Maltese rendition to the tune of the popular carol ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’.

The video features health workers, the police force, teachers and maintenance workers, among others, doing their respective jobs and preparing for the festive season, while singing along to the carol with the catchy chorus line ‘Dal-Milied niehdu hsieb lil xulxin’, translated to ‘Let’s take care of each other this Christmas’.

One can also spot some shots of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra during rehearsals, as well as the beloved local rapper Hooligan, who doles out some advice on taking care of the environment with his characteristic rap beats. All in all, a truly wholesome watch!

Did you find yourself singing along by the end?
