WATCH LIVE: Malta records another 2 COVID-19 cases and 4 recoveries

In today's press conference, Prof. Charmaine Gauci has announced that Malta has registered a further 2 cases, bringing Malta's tally up to 482. Unfortunately, one of the two new cases was an 81-year-old man who succumbed to the disease. This means Malta now has 5 Coronavirus-related deaths.

The Superintendent of Public Health also noted that the nation has another 4 recoveries which means that the total number of patients who have been cured has reached 403 and the number of active cases stands at 74.
