WATCH: I like to move it, move it! Popular TikTok trend makes its way to Valletta’s streets
Bust a move!

Jillian Mallia

If Covid has had any upside, it’s been the creativity and dance moves that have shimmied their way out of our bodies. Combine that with social media app TikTok and boom – trends galore. One of these trends is the current dance jam to the song ‘I like to move it’ (the song that became popular after being included in the film Madagascar. If you have no idea what we’re talking about – wow, we’re old).

The song has become quite the trend on TikTok, with many creators busting a move to yet another dance. We’ve seen a bunch of TikToks set in Malta, but this one is quite the bop. This Philippine trio left it all out on the dancefloor as they filmed the trend in Valletta’s Republic Street outside the Parliament and Teatru Rjal.
