The Amy Winehouse biopic film, ‘Back to Black’ has finally released its first trailer and it looks super exciting!
‘Back to Black’ stars Marisa Abela, a British actress who has a Maltese/Libyan father. In the trailer Marisa can be seen wearing Amy’s signature and distinguishable outfits, hair and makeup.
The 27-year-old actress has also taken on the massive responsibility of singing all throughout the movie. This is by far an incredibly impressive feat considering what a unique voice Amy had.
The film deals with the life of Amy Winehouse from the early beginnings of her career to her untimely death in 2011.
‘Back to Black’ is set to release on the 12th April and many cannot wait to see it!
The film is direct by Sam Taylor Johnson and stars Jack O’Connell, Eddie Marsan, Juliet Cowan and Lesley Manville.
