These basketball stars did it again! The FIBA U18 Women's European Championship 2023, Division C, saw Malta win the title after defeating Albania 56-47 in the final, giving these young starlets their first triumph since 2007.

Danika Galea, the tournament's MVP, led Malta with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 8 of 11 from the floor. Danika averaged 28.0 points and 19.0 rebounds per game while recording double-doubles in each of the tournament's games.

Anisa Bokrina and Brikena Mucenji, two members of Albania's All-Star Five, combined for 28 points and 13 rebounds. Anisa was the only other player in double digits with 11 points and 7 rebounds in the Final, while Brikena finished with a game-high 17 points for the squad.

With a vital putback by Danika in the closing seconds, Malta overcame their deficit coming into the final round by outscoring their opponents 20-10.

Well done, team Malta!
