Unknown Prescription - Special collective exhibition to be inaugurated at Gozo’s ‘IL-ĦAĠAR’
It is completely free for all those who wish to visit.
Il-Ħaġar Museum and Community Cultural Centre in Victoria’s Pjazza San Ġorġ are set to inaugurate a special exhibition on Saturday, 27th January.
‘Unknown Prescription’ is set to be open for visitors until the 14th April, during the centre’s normal opening hours (9am to 5pm, from Monday to Sunday).
Curated by Austin Camilleri, works by Mario Abela, Charles Balzan, and Justin Falzon, the exhibition explores ideas of transition, fragmentation and the flesh - where paintings and photography “dialogue with artefacts” from Il-Ħaġar’s permanent collection.
The exhibition catalogue will then be officially launched on 17th February and will feature essays by Austin Camilleri, Maria Frendo, Niki Young, and Gabriel Zammit. Other associated events are being planned too.
As most exhibitions typically are at ‘Il-HAGAR’, 'Unknown Prescription' is completely free to all visitors.
