Grab your snorkel buddy and get ready for a unique underwater adventure with the upcoming guided snorkel trails at the Marine Protected Area at Golden Bay and Riviera. These upcoming guided snorkel trails are being held in collaboration between the Environment & Resources Authority (ERA), Ambjent Malta and Nature Trust Malta.

Hosted by experts in marine conservation and ecology, these guided tours provide participants with an insightful journey into the underwater world. The tours aim to raise awareness about the importance of marine protection and allow individuals to witness the beauty and diversity of the marine ecosystem firsthand.

Due to the delicate nature of the environment, the snorkel tours have limited availability, with a maximum of 5 participants per tour. This ensures a low-impact experience that minimises disturbances to marine life and its habitats. This activity is free of charge and open to anyone above the age of 18 years. Participants must be able to swim and in good physical fitness for snorkelling at depths between 0.5m and 5m.

If you would like to secure a spot on these exclusive tours, interested individuals can register through the provided booking form at https://forms.office.com/e/crHwF3sC5y.

There is also an available option for a self-guided tour. ERA encourages the public to download the below digital guides, which are available in both Maltese and English and visit these trails.
